CHAPTER 13 REORGANIZATION
Chapter 13 is a reorganization that requires a payment plan.
First, the new bankruptcy law requires a chapter 13, subject to other considerations, if your income and your family's income exceeds the median income in your state.
In a chapter 13 it is possible to keep your house and eliminate your other debt.
Sometimes it is possible to eliminate the 2nd deed of trust and keep the house.
Experience, now more than ever, matters.
Marital debts also are dischargeable in Chapter 13 but not in Chapter 7.
